Stayed the night at a village on the way to Luang Prabang. Nice little village and the boat was full the for the trip down the river. Found a hotel in Luang Prabang on the the littler river. Nice little town.
18/4/11 till 24/4/11
Took Gracie to the shop. Piston and rings are shot and just to make it more fun they cannot find any here in Laos. Have been trying to sort out parts from Thailand but have not been successful. I have had to order then in the UK and get mike to send them over, which means holidays have delayed things again, Easter has stopped anything happening for a while. But have been walking around town a bit, walked down the river to town the other day, got bored of the road.

Went to an engagement party was a lot of fun doing line dancing and other Laos dancing. Lots of food, drink and people, probably more than a hundred people.
So hopefully the next time i post I'll be back on the road towards Vietnam.
