Till Sihanoukville

16/2/11
Rode to Battambong today it's very much like Australia still long straight roads with rice fields on either side, which like Aussie in the summer are dry brown stuff (rice storks as most has been harvested).

17/2/11
Rode from Battambong to Phnom Phem. Same as yesterday really road wise. Few cops around but they don't seem to like pulling over tourists, one walked out probable because I was over the 60km speed limit for open roads but just waved me on well stopping most others.
Saw some interesting ute and van loads, one ute was so full the front wheels where only just touching the road, one where there was a guy sitting on the bonnet of the ute (passanger side) doing over 60km an hour, some that where loaded almost as high as a truck (with people sitting on top).
Saw a few hills finally, I think atleast one was a moutain as it's mark on the lonely planet map (the major map maker lol) as 1800m, if that is the one I could see.I made it to town though, nice looking place i'm in and the most expensive room I have stayed in in Cambodia $8, maybe I should find somewhere cheaper (but hey if the barman keeps hitting on me maybe i'll stay longer lol!!! If only he had bigger tits, did I say that out loud (Murray you might be the only one to get that, but I find it funny)).

18/2/11
Didn't go to the killing fields in the end, I found out that a Japanese company now owns it, so all the money goes to Japan not to the Cambodian people. Went to the Tuoi Sieng Museum instead, where they found the last 14 killed, pretty bad stuff going on there.
Also went to the National Museum which was great, some beautiful pictures of the temples and bits of the temples.

19/2/11
Went to the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda in the morning which are nice. Then road down to Kampot, missed my turn off near Phnom Phen so had to come across down the bottom but that is ok. The town must be busy as I had to go to 4 hotels to find one to stay in, all the rest where full.

20/2/11
Rode down to Kep and around there a little, nice town, nice little beach, beautiful crab.

21/2/11
Went for a big ish ride around the area to secret lake, the Elephant shine in a cave, just riding around on dirt back roads. Went to a festival thing going on at the local park in Kampot

22/2/11
Rode up to the rapids which had almost no water (that's what happens in the dry season. Then rode down to Sihanoukville, headed out to a less busy place call Otress Beach very nice bugger all people.

23/2/11
Went to town to get some money and try to sort out a dive trip.
