Have decided to stay in Phu Quocfor a few more days and do a Open water dive course.So i'm at the internet cafe now doing the intro bit.
There is so much consruction going on here in south vietnam at the moment. On the way from Cantho to Rach Gia i drove through what is going to be a town. The road was a single lane of tar for quite a while then suddenly there was dual lane carrageways, which i wrode around for a while trying to get my bearings, they are building industral estates, office buildings and house for a lot of people. at the moment it's a village though with maybe 10,000 people. Was really cool riding down the little roads, getting out of the way of cars, trucks. But the rivers and rice paddies do look good.
The ferry from Rach Gia to Phu Quoc only cost 270,000 ($14) and 170,000($9) for the bike. Have been for a bit of a ride around the island here. Sat under a waterfall, been to a couple of temple/pogodas. Went for a snorkel yesterday which was good. Not many fish but some good coral. Did see vietnam nemo he only has 1 stripe but ducks in and out of sea annenamies the same.
Anyway need to complete atleast 3 sections of this course before the pool dive so.
