Ok a little story first. A couple of years ago a man set off from Veitnam on a motorbike. As he rode around the 25 different countries for 42,000km he was not always happy with what he had seen in some countries. Loas because of the break down was under done, Thailand because of the 15 day visa was under done. Malaysia and Indonesia where just day trips on an island, India was to big and the wrong season so missed the east and the famous Ladak ride. Norway was too wet, France was only about 30km in total, Poland was too quick. Even so i decided it was time to go home for xmas then head over to Aussie to get a job and save some money for Leg 4, South America.
So all of these places have been the "I want to go back and do more at some point" places. Right now i'm sitting in Goa. The Indians have given me a 6mth visa instead of the 3mth i asked for. I have contacts here that will be able to help in buying a bike. The seasons are right to head out east to Bangladesh and Assam area until April when the visa expires. If i went to Nepal for 2 months it would then be the perfect time to head up to Ladak..... And yes i should have enought money to carry on for another year.
Mmmm home for xmas with the family and catch up with friend as i have planned, or Buy a bike and do leg 4 of the trip here in India?????
The question is obivous, i want answers with explanations please. Yes mum because you are mum and love your son is a valid reason, I would hope for a little more tho.
